I have a business in Grand Cane. I have been a business owner for 10 years there. There are only 4 buildings that have businesses in town. This council does not play well with others, many people can attest to this. I have a deep appreciation for art, and am an artist myself. I am sure that most of the members are unaware of the tactics used by a few members to shut out local business and artists. Art is an expression, a gift, that comes from the heart. For an art council to bully is beyond my grasp. For the members who know what i am talking about, be involved and go behind the scenes, talk to your artists, businesses, patrons and visitors. Build this district to a place where we can all be artists, and enjoy it.
